The 5/32 could strip out your truss rod over time though if you are having to go tight with it so you can always wrap a piece of tape around it to get it closer to the 4mm size. WebMay 28, 2009 · OK, I can now confirm that it is 3/16", not 5mm. I was able to try a 5mm, and it's too big. (3/16" = 4.7625mm ). I'll bet the foreign made O's are 5mm though. And, I was able to adjust it with a 'normal' everyday allen wrench. No need for anything special.
