Webb15 apr. 2024 · I had installed a teraflex HD tie rod and drag link kit awhile ago. Shop never pre-loaded the adjustable ball joints on each end of drag link and tie rod. Finally got the Teraflex premium ball joint adjustment tool in the mail. Went ahead and tightened the joints down to 90 inch lbs. Steering is very, very tight now. Webb13 aug. 2024 · Aug 13, 2024. Webb18 aug. 2024 · My initial concern is both the drag link and tie rod do not appear to be adjusted correctly. The silver double adjuster sleeve on both is threaded way too far in like you are using it as a jam nut. They should have equal amounts of thread showing on either side of the hex flats.
