Standard torque on a 3/8 fine thread bolt with lubricated threads (LocTite) is 45. I usually just go srtaight to the FSM, but 100 on 3/8 bolts just seems insane. Too much won't hurt anything other than break the bolt. The carrier bearing rides in the races and you will snap the bolt off before you warp or crack the races. slush light
