WebI had to delete the Root and ProtectedRoot folders in the registry key named HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\SystemCertificates\Root\ProtectedRoots. It then regenerated and took care of the problem, wiping out the vestige from the former troublesome Cryptographic Services. I hope these steps help you. WebJul 21, 2009 · It worked at first fine.
